How to set up the MFI bot

1. Set up the timeframe for your MFI bot
2. Set up the indicator length (the number of candles to calculate the indicator values).
3. Set up the lower and upper range values for the signal generation. For example, if the lower and the upper values are 20 and 80, and the asset price line reaches the upper level of 80, a buy signal will be formed. If the asset price line reaches the lower value, a sell signal will be formed.

The Money Flow Index is a technical oscillator that uses the price and volume data to determine when the asset is overbought or oversold. It also can be used to detect divergences that signal a trend reversal. 

The main difference between the MFI and other relative strength oscillators sich as RSI, for example, is that the MFI indicator considers not only price data but also the data about the asset trading volume. This is why some analytics determine MFI as an RSI weighted by the volume. The indicator shows the intensity of investing of funds in the asset or retrieving the funds from the asset. Thus, it helps to measure the buyers’ or sellers’ pressure.
